Team Heka's Move for Movember: week 2

A quick summary:

A reminder of why we’re taking on this challenge: To raise money which will go towards funding groundbreaking men’s health projects across mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Team Heka have now completed week 2 of Moving for Movember. Muscles are aching and foam rollers are out in full force, but we’re halfway and ready for week 3!

What we've been up to

Heka’s CEO Alex, is nearly halfway into his 4 X 60 challenge. This week he’s been cycling 60K every single day to raise money for Movember.

The highlight of the week had to be when Alex turned up to a meeting still cycling on his spin bike, with his laptop propped up on a piece of plywood.

Next week he'll be taking on his third challenge, rowing 60K. Head over to his LinkedIn page here for daily LinkedIn story updates.

Our Provider Manager Ryan has also joined in by cycling 60 miles throughout the week, and Denis from the tech team has made good headway into his 60K of running. Extra points for getting up early and fighting the morning frost!

A huge thank you to everyone who has shared words of encouragement, to all the people who've joined us, and for the generous donations that have been made so far.

If you’d like to make a small donation here, we would be very grateful. Not only will it make the early mornings and sweaty afternoons worth it, but it will also help to fund groundbreaking projects changing the face of men’s health
