A quick summary:
Behind the scenes at Heka, there’s a lot that needs to run smoothly to make sure our members, partners, and teams have the best possible experience - and that’s where Rebekah Bennett comes in.
As our Business Operations Coordinator, Becky plays a vital role across customer success, operations, and finance. With a sharp eye for detail, a love of data, and an impressive talent for keeping multiple priorities moving in sync, she helps ensure the foundations of Heka are strong, efficient, and always improving. Thoughtful, organised, Becky brings a calm, considered energy to everything she does - and we’re excited to shine a light on her in this employee spotlight.
What’s your role at Heka?
I’m the Business Operations Coordinator, which means my role spans customer success, operations, and finance. It’s a real mix, but that’s what I enjoy - I get to support different parts of the business and help everything work together seamlessly.
What excites you most about your role?
The data! I love getting insight into our member analytics and seeing the many different ways people use Heka to support their health and wellbeing. It’s really rewarding to see tangible evidence of how our benefits are making a difference in people’s lives.
What’s the biggest challenge?
Balancing competing priorities across different areas of the business can definitely be a challenge. That said, I’m very much a lists-and-colour-coding person, so staying organised helps me keep on top of everything.
Where do you see the future of employee wellbeing?
Everyone is on their own health and wellbeing journey, and those needs naturally change over time. What works for someone today might not be right for them in six months or a year. Heka’s data shows there’s no one-size-fits-all solution - the future of employee wellbeing has to be adaptable, personalised, and responsive to individuals as they evolve.
What is your favourite Heka benefit?
My Lumie sunrise lamp has been a total game-changer, especially during the darker months. I like getting up early, but dark mornings aren’t exactly motivating - the sunrise simulation really helps reset my circadian rhythm and start the day feeling more energised.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
As my Heka colleagues know, I’m a bit of a history nerd. In my spare time, you’ll usually find me exploring London’s many incredible museums or visiting historic houses and castles.
Do you have any interesting facts about yourself?
I used to be a pastry cook! From dinner service to banquets, French pastry cases to buffet displays. I even made my own wedding cake.
