“Heka supports our pledge to create a great place to work” – Finura

Finura is a multi-disciplinary, chartered, award-winning financial planning practice for private Clients, business owners and trustees. Finura offer advice covering tax planning, inheritance tax and wealth preservation, pensions and investments and much more.

Since launching in 2014, Finura has won and been a finalist in numerous awards in their industry. This includes winning 2017’s Tax Efficient Investment Planner of the Year & 2019’s Gold Standard for Independent Financial Advice.

Finura started looking at Heka as part of its People, Planet initiative. Louise explains: “As part of this, we pledged to develop our colleagues, strengthen our culture, and make Finura a great place to work. Adding a wellbeing platform to support this decision felt like the obvious thing to do

Creating a positive buzz throughout the company

Since introducing Heka, Finura has seen a positive buzz throughout the company and, as members of the team often share their Heka bookings with one another, Louise says that Heka has “definitely brought the team closer together.”

It allows people a really flexible and personal introduction to various areas of wellbeing. Those they may not have ever considered or knew existed prior to the platform being available.”

There are thousands of experiences, products and services available to Finura’s team on Heka, and it empowers employees to take control of their health and wellbeing.

“Too often employee benefits tools and resources are a bit of a one-size-fits-all approach. Heka allows for a hands-off approach for our leadership team and a very personalised experience for our team members,” Louise adds.

Employers thinking about Heka, do it!

Many companies realise Heka is the solution they were needing all along, and this was the case for Finura too. In fact, when asked about employers who are considering Heka, Louise said, “Do it! It’s something that our Finura colleagues love, and it can be adapted to fit most budgets.”

It’s so easy to navigate, and the choice of wellbeing experiences are really wide-ranging. We needed a streamlined wellbeing benefit, one we felt confident introducing to anyone who joined our team, and one fit for our growing business. Heka ticks all of these boxes.”

From fitness classes and gyms to arts and crafts, learning and development, fertility, outdoor activities and financial coaching, there really are thousands of experiences to pick from.

There are also hundreds of experiences added to the platform every month and Louise adds that “the Heka team was also really hands-on and very accommodating to suggestions for additions to the platform.”

Simple, easy and intuitive onboarding

Many HR leaders recognise the difficulty with implementing new technology, a problem Heka streamlines for effective onboarding. Louise says “The onboarding process with Heka is great, simple, easy, and intuitive! It’s important our team felt educated on exactly what was available to them”

Through exceptional customer service, employees and HR teams remain informed and supported throughout their experience on Heka, and Louise says “Having a dedicated account manager for Finura means you always have a person at the end of an email, phone or video meeting.”

Our team just loves it!

Health and wellbeing should be accessible to everyone in the workplace, whatever their interests or preferences are. Louise says “We share recommendations for the things we’ve experienced. It also really supports our in-house Mental Health First Aider with some fantastic insights & articles. People have also become more health-conscious, which is wonderful. They just love it!”

Can’t recommend it highly enough

Ultimately, health and wellbeing should be accessible. Users shouldn’t experience any hurdles throughout their experience, and Louise says this about the administrative support – “Heka offers really simple administration and it is so easy to add additional funds as a prize for being voted our Finura Colleague of the Quarter.” This means People teams can spend more time on other aspects of HR, performance and people operations – all while knowing employee wellbeing is taken care of.

Since 2014, Finura has established a full-service financial planning company and been recognised for their expertise through multiple awards. Finura’s mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of their clients, and Finura’s level of knowledge in the financial services sector is next to none.
